Judging will be conducted by Arts Guild New Jersey’s Executive Director, Lawrence Cappiello as well as additional artist jurors, to be announced.



  The exhibition is open to all artists working in any media.  Artists must be a minimum age of 18 to enter. Work must have been completed in the past 5 years, and may not have been exhibited previously at Arts Guild New Jersey.

Entry fee is only $20 for six images. No more than 6 works can be submitted.  Submit only 1 image per work, unless the work is 3-Dimensional, in which case an additional “detail” image will be accepted.  Entry fees are to cover processing costs and are non-refundable.



ENTRIES THAT ARE NOT PROPERLY FORMATTED, SIZED, AND LABELED MAY NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR JURYING.  DO NOT submit more than 6 works, unless the work is three-dimensional (free standing and “in the round”), in which case, one additional detail image will be accepted.

Each digital image must be saved in JPEG format, sized at a resolution of 72 dpi (psi) and no larger than 600 pixels in any direction. Name images with consecutive numbers from 1 - 4.

Images must be labeled: LastName_FirstName_EntryNumber.jpg (Such as Smith_Joe_1.jpg or Doe_Jane_3.jpg)

Three-dimensional image details must be labeled in the following format:
LastName_FirstName_EntryNumber_detail.jpg (Such as Smith_Joe1_detail.jpg or Doe_Jane_3_detail.jpg)

NOTE: Proper capitalization, spelling, punctuation, and grammar are very important as these documents are used during exhibition if you are selected.  No changes can be made after submission is complete so please proof your submission thoroughly beforehand.



The exhibition will consist of two-dimensional and three-dimensional artwork in all media.

The size limitation for 2-D work is 48” x 48”. 

Free-standing pieces may not exceed 60” wide or 60” deep, and 72” high, and may not weigh more than 100 lbs. 

Wall hanging pieces must be wired for hanging - No saw-tooth hangers, please. The weight limitation for wall-hanging work is 25 lbs.  Plexiglass is preferable to glass.

Accepted artwork cannot be substituted and must be available for the duration of the exhibit.


DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: Friday, September 26, 2014 - 5:00 pm.

Digital images must accurately represent the submitted work.  Arts Guild New Jersey has the right to exclude/refuse any works which differ significantly from the selected entries or do not meet the specifications outlined above.

Digital images of your work will be accepted via our online web form only. Entries MUST adhere to the specifications outlined below.  Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

The receipt of any entry will be understood to imply agreement on the part of the entrant with all conditions set forth in this prospectus.


All artwork is insured for its declared value while on the premises.  Artists are responsible for insuring their work during transit to and from Arts Guild New Jersey. Arts Guild New Jersey requests a 15% commission fee on all sales during or due to this exhibit.


All hand-delivered work must be delivered to the gallery by Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at 10:00 AM and picked up on Sat., March 12, 2016 at 10:30am.


All Shipped works must be received by Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 4:00pm. Exhibiting artists are expected to cover the round trip shipping costs for their work if the art does not sell in the exhibit. All shipped works must be shipped in reusable packaging andmust be received with pre-paid return labels for the package(s), international shipping must also have a filled-out Commercial Invoice for return delivery.Unless a bar-coded return label is included with shipped work we’ll be unable to install your work. Contact shipper online to download label or purchase at time of shipping. No hand-written return forms allowed. Do not send by US Postal Service. We prefer UPS or FedEx. If work is not delivered by due date, artist is disqualified from the exhibit. No shipping peanuts allowed.
